Bacon lovers beware! Eating to much processed red meats can cause cancer!

We all love bacon right? who doesn’t? Well it’s on the list! Noooo I hear you cry, i’m just as gutted about bacon. Apparently Bacon, along with all processed meats is high in cancer causing carcinogens.

Colleen Doyle, MS, RD, American Cancer Society managing director of nutrition and physical activity, says,

We should be limiting red and processed meat to help reduce colon cancer risk, and possibly, the risk of other cancers. The occasional hot dog or hamburger is okay.

Now I’m not saying you should completely scrap red processed meats out of your diet, But as Colleen suggests whilst speaking to the World Health Organisation, the odd hot dog or hamburger is ok!

You mentioned Chocolate earlier, are you joking? Chocolate can be bad for me?

Yes you heard me mention chocolate earlier, well sorry folks, Chocolate can be a baddie.

In 2005 researchers at the University of California found worryingly high levels of lead in Chocolate. Lead is a heavy metal and over time an accumulation of Lead in your body can cause your brain to suffer intellectually, cause seizures and even death!

Scary stuff eh? So that pleasure you call Chocolate can actually be slowly killing you!

Here’s a scary fact for you, over 850,000 death were directly linked to the consumption of Lead in 2013 alone!
