The Swedish House Mafia shocked the world by performing at the Ultra Music Festival with Axwell announcing “We’re back for life!”
Excited much?… During the massive Ultra Music Festival 20th Anniversary on 25th March 2018, about 45 minutes after David Guetta, the crowd waited in anticipation, an epic light show and rumbling bass devoured the entire stadium! The world knew what was about to happen and out stepped the Swedish trio!
The Swedish House Mafia haven’t performed together in 5 years, since the band had their differences and decided enough was enough. The final parting gift was a documentary from their last world tour, aptly named ‘The world is not enough’.
The massively successful EDM group comprises of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. During their set at the Ultra Music Festival the House Mafia started with ‘Miami 2 Ibiza‘ blowing the crowd away! As the Swedish House Mafia began to build up an atmosphere in the House Mafia fashion, they began to have the crowd bouncing with a selection of new and old hits, mashed together in their trademark style!
Towards the end of their set the stage snapped into darkness, as Axwell shouted his love to the crowd over the mic. Then it happened, BOOM, their biggest hit ‘One‘ came on. The crowds response was something out of this world, it brought shivers down my spine!
But the one thing we all came away from this experience with, was Axwell shouting over the microphone “And this time, Swedish House Mafia is for life!” OMG the kings of EDM are back!
